Mega Communication was established in Cairo in 2010 to bring the world's leading professional communication equipment to Egypt's maritime, commercial, industrial and government sectors. From our premises in Nasr City we supply, install, commission and maintain the equipment we sell — which is the part that matters once the invoice is settled.
We are the authorized distributor in Egypt for 11 global manufacturers — Icom, Sepura, Koden, Kannad Marine, JMC and others — covering marine electronics and GMDSS, land mobile radio, TETRA and broadband, aviation, antennas and power systems. Our clients include commercial shipping companies, fishing fleets, oil and gas operators, security firms, transport authorities and government bodies.
We also operate our own in-house service and maintenance centre, staffed by manufacturer-trained engineers. Equipment bought from us is programmed, repaired, calibrated and kept in service locally — without shipping it abroad and waiting weeks for it to return.

Our Service & Maintenance Centre
Selling equipment is straightforward; keeping it working is not. We run our own workshop in Nasr City so repairs, programming and certification happen here in Egypt rather than being shipped overseas.
Repair & diagnostics
Board-level fault finding and repair for marine, land mobile and TETRA equipment, using manufacturer service software and genuine spare parts.
Programming & fleet setup
Channel plans, talkgroups, DSC and MMSI configuration, encryption keys and fleet-wide cloning — delivered ready to work, not ready to configure.
GMDSS & safety servicing
Annual servicing and battery replacement for EPIRBs, SARTs and GMDSS radio stations, with the documentation your vessel's survey requires.
On-board & on-site installation
Antenna and cable runs, radar and radio fitting, vehicle installations and base-station commissioning — at the quay, the depot or the site.
Warranty handling
As an authorized distributor we process manufacturer warranty claims directly, so a fault is our problem to resolve rather than yours to chase.
Spares & accessories
Batteries, antennas, chargers, microphones, coaxial cable and connectors held in stock, so a repair is rarely held up waiting on a part.
