TETRA & Broadband
Mission-critical TETRA communication terminals by Sepura — the global standard for public safety, transportation, and critical infrastructure communications.
The Standard for Mission-Critical Communications
TETRA (Terrestrial Trunked Radio) is a digital radio standard purpose-built for public safety and critical operations — offering encrypted group calling, direct mode, GPS tracking, and data services unavailable on conventional radios.
End-to-End Encryption
TETRA provides built-in TEA encryption ensuring all voice and data communications remain private and secure from interception.
GPS & AVL Tracking
Real-time GPS location reporting allows dispatch centers to track all units on a live map — essential for fleet and first responder management.
Group & Individual Calls
Instantaneous group calls reach all relevant users simultaneously, with individual calls and telephone interconnect also supported.
Direct Mode Operation
TETRA radios communicate peer-to-peer (DMO) without network infrastructure — vital for tunnels, underground, and disaster scenarios.

Sepura — SC Series TETRA & Broadband
Sepura, headquartered in Cambridge UK, is one of the world's foremost TETRA manufacturers, with radios in service with public safety and transport operators in over 100 countries. The SC series covers compact and flagship TETRA hand-portables, the SCL3 broadband device for 4G/5G and hybrid operation, a 10 W vehicle mobile, and the SCC3 console — all sharing one accessory range.

Flagship TETRA Hand-Portable
Sepura's most capable TETRA hand-portable. The headline is the environmental sealing — rated across IP65, IP66, IP67 and IP68, so it is dustproof and genuinely submersible, not merely splash-resistant. Water Porting keeps the audio clear in continuous heavy rain.
Specifications
Key Features
- IP68 submersible and dustproof — suits mining, construction, and marine work
- Water Porting® keeps audio clear in continuous heavy rain
- 2 W speaker output, the loudest in the SC range
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, plus a second data bearer for enhanced data
- Runs Sepura's TETRA apps for processing operational data on the device
- Covers VHF and UHF bands including 806–870 MHz

Compact TETRA Hand-Portable
The same TETRA engine in a noticeably smaller body — 194 g against the SC20's 241 g, and 17 mm shorter. For officers wearing a radio through a full shift, that difference is felt. It keeps the full 2.4-inch display rather than shrinking the screen to save space.
Specifications
Key Features
- 194 g and 27 mm thick — among the lightest full-function TETRA radios
- Full 2.4 in display and well-spaced keys despite the compact body
- Directional speakers with Water Porting® for clear audio in noise and wet
- IP67 rated — survives immersion, not just rain
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi for body-worn peripherals and data
- Uses the same accessories as every Sepura TETRA hand-portable

TETRA Mobile Radio — 10 W
A vehicle-mounted TETRA mobile rather than a hand-portable. At 10 W it transmits roughly three times harder than a hand-portable, which is what pushes coverage into terrain and buildings that would otherwise fall outside the network.
Specifications
Key Features
- 10 W output extends coverage into challenging terrain and structures
- 8 W audio — audible over engine, siren, and road noise
- Widest band coverage in the range, VHF through 806–870 MHz
- Separate SCC3 or HBC3 console lets the transceiver mount out of sight
- Bluetooth and Wi-Fi enable remote programming without pulling the vehicle in
- Four-constellation GNSS for reliable vehicle location and AVL

Sepura Colour Console 3
The control head for the SCG22 mobile. Separating the console from the transceiver means the radio body can be hidden under a seat while only the console occupies dash space — and the IP67 rating means it survives an open cab, not just a sealed one. Arabic key mats are a factory option.
Specifications
Key Features
- Arabic key mats available, alongside Latin, Cyrillic, Korean, Chinese, and Macedonian
- IP67 rated — suits open cabs and vehicles exposed to dust and rain
- Salt fog tested to MIL-STD-810G, appropriate for coastal and marine vehicles
- Mounts remotely from the transceiver, freeing up dash space
- Backwards compatible — replaces legacy consoles in existing SRG3900 installations
- Coloured bezels in black, grey, orange, yellow, blue, or green for fleet coding
Broadband — 4G/5G1 product

Broadband Hand-Portable — 4G/5G, Optional TETRA
Sepura's flagship broadband device, and the bridge between TETRA and Mission Critical Services. Deploy it as 4G/5G only, or fit the optional SC28 module and run hybrid TETRA plus broadband data — so a fleet can migrate at its own pace rather than replacing everything at once.
Specifications
Key Features
- Runs 4G/5G alone, or hybrid TETRA and broadband with the optional SC28 module
- The SC28 module can be removed later, or moved to another SCL3 — the migration is reversible
- Hot-swap battery — no shutdown to change packs mid-shift
- IP68 rated, the highest in the Sepura range
- Uses the existing Sepura TETRA accessory connector, so current accessories carry over
- Android 14 non-GMS for controlled, mission-critical app deployment
