Marine Radar
Radar from 4 kW radomes for workboats up to 12 kW IMO-approved open-array systems for SOLAS vessels, with target tracking and AIS overlay.

Icom — Marine Radar
2 models in this range from Icom.

Marine Radar — 10.4 in Colour LCD
A 10.4-inch colour radar display with target tracking, suited to workboats, fishing vessels, and larger leisure craft. Available with radome or open array antennas depending on the range required.
Specifications
Key Features
- Bright 10.4 in colour display readable in daylight
- Automatic target acquisition with CPA and TCPA calculation
- AIS targets overlaid on the radar picture
- Configurable guard zones with audible alarm
- Echo trails show target movement at a glance
- Matches radome or open array antennas to the vessel

Marine Radar — 12.1 in Colour LCD
The larger display in the radar range, at 12.1 inches, supplied here with an open array antenna. The bigger scanner delivers sharper bearing discrimination — separating two targets that a radome would merge into one.
Specifications
Key Features
- 12.1 in colour display for detailed target presentation
- Open array antenna sharpens bearing discrimination
- Automatic target tracking with CPA and TCPA
- AIS targets shown alongside radar echoes
- Guard zones with audible intrusion alarm
- Suited to commercial vessels and larger fishing craft

Koden — Marine Radar
3 models in this range from Koden.

Marine Radar — 8.4 in, 4 kW Radome
A compact 4 kW radar built around a 2 ft radome, bringing signal processing normally found on much larger professional sets to smaller vessels. The enclosed radome suits boats where a rotating open array is impractical.
Specifications
Key Features
- True trail separates moving vessels from fixed land and buoys
- Sophisticated signal processing usually reserved for larger radars
- Enclosed radome — nothing exposed to rotate or ice up
- Short 0.0625 NM minimum range for close-quarters work
- 8.4 in colour display readable in daylight
- Well suited to workboats and smaller commercial craft

Marine Radar — 10.4 in, 4 kW Open Array
The same 4 kW transmitter on a larger 10.4-inch display and an open array antenna. The open array sharpens bearing discrimination — it will separate two targets that a radome shows as a single blob.
Specifications
Key Features
- Open array gives markedly better bearing discrimination than a radome
- Dual range — watch close quarters and long range side by side
- True trail distinguishes moving targets from stationary ones
- 48 NM maximum range for coastal and offshore passage
- Choice of 3 ft or 4 ft antenna to suit the vessel
- CE certified model

IMO Marine Radar — 19 in, 12 kW
The professional IMO-standard radar in the range: 12 kW into an open array up to 9 ft, on a 19-inch display. This is the class of radar carried by SOLAS vessels rather than fitted by choice.
Specifications
Key Features
- Meets IMO carriage standards for regulated vessels
- 12 kW transmitter for long-range detection in poor conditions
- 64 NM maximum range
- Antenna options up to 9 ft for the sharpest discrimination
- Large 19 in display suited to a proper bridge installation
- Built for continuous professional watchkeeping
